The World's Church of the Living God was founded in 1964 by Bishop W. C. Hunter, under the guidance of God Almighty. Bishop Hunter's first love is for God and for the ministry of Jesus Christ. Bishop Hunter is Pastor of the Chattanooga headquarters church, and he is the general overseer of several other congregations throughout the Southeastern United States.  He is the television and radio teacher of numerous individuals throughout the world.

He and his lovely wife of more than 50 years have four children, three adoptive children, a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of children in the gospel.

You can feel the warmth of the love of Christ when you are among us, and we welcome you to fellowship with us!

WCLG church services are held at 1:00 p.m. on Sundays and on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. at the headquarters church in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
